Life is like a great game where you control the main character. People take for granted so many unwritten rules imposed by the society. However, the truth is that with a little bit of creativity and the willingness to break assumptions you can hack most areas of your life.
Would you like to have a lifestyle of a millionaire without possessing tons of money? Well, it is possible and you should do it. Firstly, lets make something clear. It is not about having millions, but about doing things that a millionaire can, wants and would do. According to Tim Ferriss, the author of an amazing book: “The 4-hour Workweek”:
People don’t want to be millionaires – they want the experience what they believe only millions can buy… $1,000,000 in the bank isn’t the fantasy. The fantasy is the lifestyle of complete freedom it supposedly allows. The questions is then, How can one achieve the millionaire lifestyle of complete freedom without first having $1,000,000?
There are many ways of accomplishing it. However, in this particular video I will share one of it.
Make your cash worth more by leveraging currency differences.
How would you describe paying 15 euros for a Mojito in Marbella? Pain.
What about $35 for a nice dinner and the entire night full of fun in Buenos Aires?
The latter happened to me multiple times. It is so much fun to convert pounds, euros or dollars into a local currency making them worth 2, 3, 5 times more. Taking this into account, one way to live big during your travels is to sacrifice famous (and great) but ultra expensive destinations (e.g. Ibiza, Oslo or Paris) and think outside the box by choosing places where you will get the most value for your cash.
Don’t get me wrong though! I love Ibiza and have been there many times. The point is that if you really want to make the most of your money it is worth visitng certain places more than others as the quality you get for each $ you spend is immense. Some of my personal favourites are Argentina (Buenos Aires), Hungary, Czech Republic and Spain (Malaga).
